2/23/2010 Prelim consult
I spoke with this firm after performing an online search for custody lawyers. The office staff was very courteous and attentive to my background info while calling from out-of-state in South Carolina. My active case is in Vegas, so I was concerned if I could get any kind of help. My phone consultation will take place tomorrow, so I will comment on my findings and "re-rate" my review then. I am hoping Atty. Zernich can solve my problem without delay.

Outstanding Success!
Gary definately knows his case law. I only wish I had been referred to him from the start.I spent way to much time and money with my first attorney.Gary was able to apply case law in my situation to even the field with one court date! He is very aggressive in court but not obstructive to the procedings. I found Gary's staff to be incredibly helpful,informative and consoling at a time when I really needed legal help. Custody Change

Awesome Attorney
I was in need of some professional representation in a hurry , I had a hearing on a Thursday and I called Gary's office the night before he agreed to meet with me 2 hrs before my hearing in the courthouse to review my file. I was so impressed with his professionalism and the outcome of my hearing I had to retain him for my next hearing the following month and after that hearing I walked out of the courtroom a very happy man because I was awarded primary custody of my 4 small children I been told by several people that it is very hard for a father to get full custody over the mother but Gary was very agressive and the outcome reflects that.

honest lawyer
I hired Mr. Zernich to resolve my child custody issue and he did the best he could do, he drug tested the other party and it was a positive test. he gave me great advise on how to proceed in Court. His paralegal Rae has been very helpful and compasionate. Their help has been very valuable. Also, it is not a expensive lawyer. I recommend his services to anyone.

Mr. Zernich is not an attorney who will just simply conform to what you want if it does not clearly sort out to be in your best interest in the long run. He will challenge you first. I just wanted to take a couple of minutes to let you know how extremely grateful I am for your assistance in obtaining full custody of my four year old son earlier this year.
I was three weeks away from losing custody of my son to his homeless, drug addicted mother when I came to you, fearing for my son's health and safety was the biggest nightmare of my life. No matter what I did or said in court, I was just not getting anywhere in my court battle for divorce and child custody. Gary is the man!
I write this testimonial as a current client of Gary Zernich, my case regarding custody of my daughter is still pending. I presently have primary custody of my daughter and have had to fight my ex and her attorney at every juncture just to keep her safe and in my care. Gary has had to fight for me on simple issues such as jurisdiction, my ex’s summer visitation, evidence cut-off dates, choice of my daughter’s doctors and surgery and many other issues, mainly because my ex refuses to be reasonable. Gary has attempted to keep my attorney’s fees down, yet her attorney only runs my bill right back up when I am forced to fight about simple issues that could easily be resolved if my ex would just do the right thing for our daughter. In the past hearings, Gary won each time and I only hope that the Trial ends of the same way. Gary, you are the man!!

What an attorney should be
I interviewed many attorneys before choosing Gary. Let me first point out that they all wanted to charge me a lot more and sometimes double what Gary charged me. Every other attorney I met with was interested in the money and they let me know that's all they cared about in the initial interview. They all lied about what they could do for me. Gary was the only one who was honest which felt great because I knew exactly where I stood the entire time. Gary went above and beyond his duties of representing me and I still can't believe that there are attorneys out there who actually care about your case. His staff was very professional and worked even harder then Gary did. There was no way I would have won in court but with Gary and his staff being so aggressive I not only got EVERYTHING that I wanted, my ex and I were able to work out everything with Gary's help without even having to go to court. Aggressive, Professional, Awesome
My wife read all the testimonials before calling Mr. Zernich. And everyone of them is definitely a "testimony" of his services. I was very impressed when I showed up with my family, and Mr. Zernich called me in but said it was a private meeting just between us. He then asked me if I wanted to have my family in there, he didn't want to put me on the spot by asking me that question in front of my family. Very considerate. He then began explaining how the law works in cases like mine and was very honest and straight up. He wasn't cocky like most lawyers, just very confident in his knowledge of law. He totally destroyed the other attorney with discreet aggression. It was as if I was saying the words myself, it was like it was his own kids that were at stake and not mine. I won hands down. I would never use another family attorney again or recommend anyone but Gary. Brenda and the rest of the office staff are some of the nicest people you will ever come across. Exceptional Service
We live in another State, and needed someone to appear in court on our behalf, for a Child Support/Visitation Case.
Mr. Zernich was recommended to us by E.R.D.F. We contacted a total of 3 attorneys. Out of the 3, the first office never returned our call; the second one said send me your money and paperwork I'll take care of it, but he didn't even want to hear about our situation; and the 3rd was Mr. Zernich's office.
I spoke with his assistant at great length discussing our situation; she then promptly set up an appointment for a telephonic consultation. Mr. Zernich spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone with my husband discussing the matters of the case with us. He was extremely honest and straight forward. Mr. Zernich, and his office staff treated us like we were important and addressed our concerns. They spent a lot of time talking with us about our situation and answering our questions; and that was BEFORE they had our money.
I understand, that is what you pay a lawyer to do...but Mr. Zernich was only paid an appearance fee on our behalf, we are not in the financial position to retain an attorney. I really feel that they have gone above and beyond what our appearance fee intailed. Court went exactly like he said it would, there were no surprises.
We highly recommend this firm and are using them again for our continued upcoming court date.

Professional good staff,Attorney has a good tim of workers that they know how to do there job.by most and first they are good people! That is hard to find at this age and time....

Great Help
I called because I was having potential drama after being nice to my xhusband and allowing him to have extended visitation with my daughter. Found out he might try for termination of parental rights. I was told where to look up whether a court case was active to protect myself from him filing for sole custody on the bases of child neglect. I was given great help and informed on how to protect my daughter and myself in the event that my x should try to take advantage of the fact that I agreed to extended visitation.
I will use this law firm if ever I should have the need, they are helpful and very knowledgable of the law.

My husband asked for a divorce after 38 years and Gary and his staff made it as painless as possible. It wasn't easy, but they were always thoughtful and helpful. annulment
I set up an appointment with Mr. Zurnich as I wanted to discuss getting an annulment. I was a little embarrassed going into the meeting but I was immediately put at ease by Gary and his entire staff. Six weeks later a very painless annulment was granted. During the period of time I dealt with this law office, I was always kept informed of how things were progressing. Outstanding Lawyer
I retained Mr. Zernich to represent my interests in an on going Family Court issue. I had previously retained several highly recommended and highly priced attorneys, all of which fell far short of my expectations. Mr. Zernich did not display the typical arrogant attitude I had experienced in the past. He had a more honest, straight forward, and common sense approach that appealed to me and, more importantly, to the Judge. When he was speaking in Court, he did not seem as though he was acting or playing a role. He made a clear argument that made perfect sense. He was calm when it was appropriate, and he was aggressive when necessary. I was pleased with the final result, and he made another potentially stressful jaunt into Family Court relatively painless. I highly recommend Mr. Zernich and his staff, and I would never consider using another lawyer.

Relocation/visitation
Gary Zernich is a very professional attorney, he is very well versed on the law and how he handles himself in court. His paralegal Cindy Reed is a wonderful asset that Gary has. They all helped me in the best manner they could for only knowing me a short time. They researched the facts instead of just taking my word on evrything, I liked that a lot about him and his staff.
